Audio Cutter - Cut and Split Music Files App Reviews

It allows me to snip out specific parts from songs as ringtones. I used it to cut the best parts out my hour long track and turn them into a small 3-8 minutes track. Very easy to use, works perfectly. I would reach recommend this app to anyone. Lovely app! Convenient and user-friendly~ ^^

If you want to cut and slice different songs you may have saved in any number of audio formats, this is the tool for you! Great app, must try, especially if you have a hard time finding the right Ringtone from your favorite songs. Load your song select your start and end and hit save. It saves in Mp3 format and it is definately a pleasure! My search for a simple audiio cutter has ceased!

I have read your single page of help and there is nothing to explain or to combine audio. Or why it will not save. I am a pretty tech savvy person so this is very annoying. It will not let me use multiple audio files, it will not save, and it will not DO ANYTHING. I have read everyones reviews hoping someone explained anything... read your help page. There is no information. This is so frustrating. I purchased this an hour ago and would like my money back.

That was by far the easiest thing I have ever done on a computer. I had a song which I recorded too early and there was a 7 second blank before the start. This app cut out and uploaded the music back into my player in less than 30 seconds. OMG AMAZING

Now I know why price dropped from 18.99 to 2.99…it’s garbage! I have tried multiple times to trim a song and the slider doesn’t work. On playback, it makes a horrible purring/screeching sound, the fade out doesn’t work. What a disappointment. This is 2.99 and an hour of my life (of pure frustration)that I’ll never get back. Save your cheddar and find something better.

I don’t see how this “fades out” the audio. Every example I’ve tried (all mp3’s I created) will not save with reduced audio at the end. There’s no “preferences” setting and editing is non-existent. I purchased it because someone told me they used it, but obviously just to cut files, not edit them.

It’s really cool app. Simple, rock-solid and easy to use. What I really like is that it can load songs from iTunes which is very convenient for me. And the optional output audio formats are abundant to choose. Many good features I won’t list one by one, you can try it by yourself. PS: I have tried it more than 10 times before making this comment.

I love an app that does exactly what it says and it will do without shutting down or trash the app and re-install it. Its really simple to use. Drag your file into it, crop it as your needs and choose the format you want to save it to. And the beveling extrusion of Fade-in/out is out of my expectation. Its the very app I like most.

If you just wanna cut the audio files, this is the perfect app. Trim your audio in a quick and easy way. And provide a wide variety of input and output audio formats especially some uncommon ones like aiff, ape and flac. Furthermore, the fade in/out facility does a favor for making ringtones. Hmmm, I speak highly of this nifty and useful app here. Give 5 stars.

Cutting my music and audio files on Mac by using this app is very quickly and easy. I can make the music belong to myself or make a home video to make my family happy. Its very interesting! Im sure you will love it!

App is great, exactly what I was looking for. I can cut music from anywhere in the song to make my own ringtones, and I can cut music tracks that have extra time in the sonn that is just silence. Very happy to get it. :)

Excellent little program perfect for grabbing that one memorable section from your favorite music to make a ringtone or notification sound.

Very useful app that makes it easy to trim an audio clip, add fade in/fade out effects, and save to just about any audio format available. My reason for only giving it 3 stars is that it has a bug that causes some of the controls to become unresponsive after a couple of minutes of use. When this happens I can’t drag the handles for the starting or stopping points where I want, and the only way to fix it (that I know of) is to quit the app and start over. Therefore I have to make all the edits I need pretty quickly before the controls freeze up. Other than that it’s a very simple and useful app that does what it’s meant to, and if the developers would just address this one problem I could give it five stars.

wow!!!! what an awful piece of garbage!!!!! there are just too many of these little fly by night developers trying to make a quick buck by putting out garbage apps that cost so low that its cheap enough for people to buy this trash and then do nothing when it doesnt work. in all reality that is the real product here as with many of these little low priced apps. just terrible.

Crashed during first time I used it on a 2014 MacBook Pro running 10.9.5. Would like to be able to zoom in to the editing area for more precise trimming of audio. Otherwise seems like a decent app. Improved stability and a little more finer control of editing and I’d likely bump the rating up a star.

I wanted to cut an audio, so I downloaded this app. It really saved me a ton of time. It was auper easy-to-use. More important, it supports almost all audio formats.

I tried it several times, EACH and EVERY time the controls became unresponsive after a while. Also when playing the music it did not update the current location it is playing. Missing critical features - 1. No ability to refine the start/end point - it would help if it would allow to jump 10 sec back/forward, and if it would allow playing at 2x and 3x speed to refine the cut point. 2. No ability to manualy enter/edit cut points - it would help to be able to see all cut points in a table so that one could edit them and/or enter them manually in the first place. I do not recommend this app with these issues/limitations, will look for something else.
